Used Ram 3500

Five trims are offered for the 2022 Ram 3500: Tradesman, Big Horn, Laramie, Longhorn, and Limited. You can choose between a regular cab, crew-cab, or the roomy MegaCab and couple that with the standard bed, at 6 feet, 4 inches in length, or the long bed, which is 8 feet long. The base Tradesman sits atop 18-inch steel wheels and includes a locking tailgate. The Big Horn, also called the Lone Star, adds power-adjustable, heated tow mirrors and chrome exterior trim.

Moving up to the Laramie upgrades the wheels to an 18-inch alloy and adds power-folding chrome tow mirrors, LED headlights and taillights, a soft-opening tailgate, and a power-sliding rear window. The Longhorn extends the plush features with rain-sensing wipers, LED cargo bed lighting, remote tailgate release, and a spray-in bed liner. The Limited sits atop 20-inch wheels and includes power running boards.

Three engines are offered for the 2022 Ram 3500. First up is the standard 6.4-liter HEMI V-8 mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission, putting out 410 horsepower and 429 pound-feet of torque. You can also go with a 6.7-liter Cummins turbo diesel inline six-cylinder engine that pairs up with a six-speed automatic transmission and puts out 370 horsepower and 850 pound-feet of torque. If you want even more power, go with the high-output diesel engine version that will put out 420 horsepower and a whopping 1,075 pound-feet of torque.

The Ram 3500 has many performance features to give you what you need. An available rear air suspension system with bed lowering capabilities optimizes your ride and hauling capabilities. In addition, you will find an electronic range system, tow hooks, and a heavy-duty shock absorber.

The maximum towing capacity for the HEMI is 18,210 pounds, while the Cummins tows up to 33,670 pounds, more than enough to haul all your equipment to the job site and bring your travel trailer and toys for your weekend adventure. The high-output Cummins engine amps up even more with a whopping 37,090-pounds maximum towing capacity.

A seamless combination of form and function describes the interior of the 2022 Ram 3500. Starting with the Tradesman, you get air conditioning, a 5-inch touch-screen infotainment system, and vinyl seats and floors. The Big Horn has carpeted floors, an 8.4-inch touch screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and cloth seats.

Opting for the Laramie will get you power-adjustable and heated front seats, leather seats, a heated steering wheel, nine-speaker premium audio sound, and dual-zone climate control. Moving up to the Longhorn gets you ventilated front seats, premium leather, a navigation system, Wi-Fi hot spot, and heated rear seats. The premier Limited includes exclusive leather seats, a 12-inch touch screen, and a wireless charger.
