Trim Levels

Five trims are available for the Ram 2500: Tradesman, Big Horn (Lone Star), Laramie, Power Wagon, and Limited. Regardless of the trim, you can get a regular cab, MegaCab (extended cab), or the roomy Crew Cab. The Tradesman sits atop 17-inch steel wheels with the Big Horn upgrading those to 18-inch chrome steel mirrors while also adding heated outside mirrors. Moving up to the Laramie adds power-folding side mirrors and LED fog lights.

The Limited gets you upgrades like power-deploying running boards, 20-inch wheels, a RamBox in-bed storage bin in the short bed, and adjustable tie-down hooks. The off-road-geared Power Wagon gives you black fender flares and exterior badging, underbody protective skid plates, powder-coated front and rear bumpers, 17-inch aluminum wheels with all-terrain tires, and an electric winch.

Engine

Three engine options are offered for the Ram 2500. First up is the standard engine, a 6.4-liter HEMI V-8 making 410 horsepower and 429 pound-feet of torque. The second engine is a turbocharged 6.7-liter six-cylinder producing 370 horsepower and 850 pound-feet of torque. The final option is a high-output Cummins Turbo Diesel engine that garners 420 horsepower and an impressive 1,075 pound-feet of torque.
