The Sierra 1500 is available with Regular Cab, Double Cab, or Crew Cab interiors and Standard Box, Long Box, or Short Box beds. More recent models come in Pro, SLE, Elevation, SLT, AT4, AT4X, Denali, and Denali Ultimate trim levels. You can also find Work Truck, SL, and XFE trims with some model years. Engine options for the Sierra 1500 often include a turbocharged, four-cylinder, 2.7-liter motor with 310 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque. You can also choose a 5.3-liter V-8 that offers 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque or a 3-liter Duramax turbodiesel engine that gives up to 305 horsepower and 495 pound-feet of torque. There's also a diesel exhaust braking system. The 6.2-liter V-8 makes 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. Six, eight, and 10-speed transmissions with overdrive and auto-manual modes are available.

It can tow up to 13,000 pounds, letting you move big boats, motor homes, and more. You can get performance exhaust for more engine noise, an engine block heater for faster starting in cold weather, and a heavy-duty engine cooler. The optional adaptive ride control can adjust the Sierra 1500's suspension every 2 milliseconds. That way, you can get better traction with many different road and weather conditions.
