The Chevy Colorado is available in four trims: WT (Work Truck), LT, Z71, and ZR2. The Colorado has two cabs available, extended and crew cab. You have three engine options for the Chevrolet Colorado, depending on the cab size you pick. Choosing the extended cab will get you a 2.5-liter four-cylinder matched to a six-speed automatic transmission for 200 horsepower and 191 pound-feet of torque. The crew cab features a 3.6-liter V-6 engine with an eight-speed automatic transmission that produces 308 horsepower and 275 pound-feet of torque. There's also a diesel option available as a 2.8-liter turbo-diesel four-cylinder that delivers 181 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque.

The standard drive train is a rear-wheel-drive system, but if you want to tackle tougher terrain or inclement weather, you can get the all-wheel-drive system. Going for the LT or Z71 grants access to a Trail Boss package which adds a 1-inch suspension leveling kit, red recovery hooks, and performance skid plates. Maximum towing capacities for the Chevy Colorado is estimated at 3,500 pounds for the 2.5-liter four-cylinder and 7,000 pounds for the 3.6-liter V-6.

Once you slide into the Chevrolet Colorado, you're immediately surrounded by form and function. The WT starts with two USB ports, vinyl upholstery, a power-adjustable driver's seat, a 7-inch touch-screen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, and a six-speaker audio system. The WT has optional features like remote keyless entry and a Wi-Fi hot spot.

The LT gives you a power-recline driver's seat, an upgraded 8-inch touch screen, two additional USB ports, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, automatic climate control, and navigation. Meanwhile, the Z71 gets you leatherette upholstery, while the ZR2 has leather upholstery and an available wireless charging pad.
